Canada? Well perhaps not. In an attempt to fight gangs, we now have laws
that make it a crime to be a member of a criminal organisation. What
consitutes such an organisation is undefined. While I don't dispute the
goal, I have to question the means. This one seems to have tossed the
concept of freedom of association right out the window.

Dear Ken,
It's not looking good so far. Judging by responses so far, Australia
(the last home of rugged individualism?) is out, as is India. Given
what I've heard about obtaining Triumph parts in South Africa, I'm not
holding out too much hope for the Dark Continent. The Middle East is
out of the question, for all the obvious reasons. Japan is too
crowded; China too autocratic; Indonesia too much of a battleground, so
the Far East isn't looking good either. I think that leaves New
Zealand, Scandinavia, the Former Soviet Union, and South America to
investigate. Any NZers, Scandinavians, Russians or South Americans
care to comment?
At this rate, I think I may end up investing in space exploration. I
wonder what the freight charge would be to get a Herald to Mare
Serenitatis?
