I was looking through David Vizard's Tuning Standard Triumphs and found a
section that discussed matching the port openings between the head and the
intake/exhaust manifolds. So I checked mine and found two of the exhaust
ports were offset by about 3/16 inch. Since the exhaust manifold openings
are bigger than head openings I didn't think it'd be worth the extra effort
since no restrictions exist.
Has anybody did port matching? Was it a noticeable improvement?
