If you work through the trouble shooting sequence in Nelson Riedel's
outstanding Overdrive technical articles and reach the point of needing
an overdrive oil pressure gauge, I still have a few left of the batch I
had made up.  Details can be seen at:

I believe the Triumph recommended oils to be used in the TR 2 - 6 GBX/OD
was 30 wt motor oil (early) and GL-4 80w90 gear lubricant (later).  I've
always used GL-4 80w90 with good results.  50 wt motor oil might be a
little heavy. Nelson also has an article on this topic.  See:
