Can anyone tell me what a blown Lucas fuse, with the paper strip inside,
looks like?
I usually can read a blown American style glass fuse to determine if the
problem was a dead short or a slight overload lasting longer than the
fuse's time delay.
I am holding a blown Lucas 25A fuse I removed from my car and the paper
strip (was pink) shows an even brown charring on it's length. The
replacement fuse has not blown.
I ask this in the remote chance that anyone else has had any Lucas
electrical problems.
