I've been searching high and low for the National Motor Freight Classification tariff all over the place. It doesn't seem to be available to the general public. My best guess is that this forces a person to contact a shipper directly instead of allowing easy shopping for rates. Does anyone have access to said rate catalogue online? Is there a spot I can find it? I'm trying to quote my own freight rates with several on-line carriers, but the forms require a classification. Lacking this, can anyone offer me the classifications for auto parts, auto engines, transmissions, etc.?
