my 80 tr7 had a front end shake when i stepped on the brakes between 40 and 60 mph. i made a false assumption that the front rotors were warped. they do squeak bad. richard truet of the tr8 list pointed out the criticality of the front wheel bearing adjustment to me. after inspection, cleaning and repacking, the front end shake is gone. just thought that would be helpful info for other tr7/8 owners. larry /// triumphs@autox.team.net mailing list /// or try http://www.team.net/cgi-bin/majorcool /// Archives at http://www.team.net/archive |
