Chris, Here are a few photos of the snap placement for the hood stick and hood
cover. These are from an original cover and interior and so are as original.
I've owned the car since 1969. The photo's will be stripped from the
transmittal to the list so if anyone else wants them write directly to me and
I'll be happy to send them to you. The male snap on the rear bulkhead is
exactly 6" down from the top of the bulkhead itself and just outside of the
radius for the rear wheel arch. The snap on the hood stick cover is through a
piece of the hoodstick cover material sewn onto the end of the elastic strap.
The elastic strap is about 3" long end to end.
Hope this helps you.

Gerald,
My TR4A does not have male snaps on the rear bulkhead, nor have the boot
straps ever been drilled for snaps.
I appreciate the info, and would like to see a picture, in case I ever
make it snappable.
Thanks,
Chris
