Thanks to all who recently provided me with their views on repairing above
subject. I took Andy Mace's advice & bought the issue of Spit & GT6 which
had the article by Fred Griffiths & have started to go at it. As an aside, I
bought for $4.00, a 18" X 36" roll of 1/64" thick Victolex gasket material
from NAPA. This will be a lifetime supply! If anyone needs a piece of this
for your repair, send me a self addressed stamped envelope & I'll cut you
what you need.
