Mickey,
I have a '74 TR6. My guage bezels have the tabs, they do not unscrew.
I cleaned my bezals with alcohol - they no longer have the black paint on the
inner edge ! I do like the all-chrome look, but be careful.
A small pickle fork, with the prongs cut back to less than 1/4" make a handy
tool for prying off the needles - carefull, needles are plastic.
