Not really. It in effect only limits the upward travel of the pedal; and it
has to be set so there is some free play in the pushrod to the MC or
pressure will build up in the system.

Do you know that you have a problem ? The stock slave only moves about
3/4", and the hydraulic TOB looks like it has a larger piston area, which
would mean it moves even less.
Somewhere, I've seen a TR3-style MC that only has a .70" bore instead of
.75". I can't remember where, but perhaps another lister will know. You
could always have Apple or someone sleeve down an original MC (and use TR6
seals in it).
Otherwise, I'd probably add a bolt to the bulkhead under the pedal, similar
to the throttle stop.
Last resort would be to shorten the pushrod to the MC and readjust the stop,
until your left leg isn't long enough to get more than 1" stroke.
(Shortening the pushrod will lower the pedal.)
