This past week the planning for TRA in Auburn, Indiana passed two huge
milestones, both equally important. The first was the realization that there
are less than 100 days till the opening bell of the best TRA National ever.
The second happened this afternoon when I received a call from Gary Anderson,
editor of British Car magazine, telling me that he and his wife are accepting
TRA's invitation to be the guest speaker at the banquet. Now many of us have
seen banquet speakers fly in about two hours ahead , give the hour or so
canned speech and split immediately, usually pirating the company treasury for
$5 to $50 thousand. On the other hand Gary Anderson and wife are planning to
partake in all the tours, driving events, tech sessions, etc. for all three
days. I have enjoyed his magazine for the past five or six years and I
really look forward to their visit. It is just another reason that TRA's
National in Auburn, Indiana should be on your schedule. The event is June 19,
