Hello all,

Please allow me to forward compliments to the contributors on this list, as I
have been reading it for nearly six months and am overwhelmed by the knowledge
and willingness to share the same. I look forward to continued reading...

This is my first post, as I just acquired my TR4 in December after a lengthy
search. I am also extremely fortunate to have a great friend who is extremely
knowledgeable about TR4s, and endures my emails on a daily basis asking
questions. As he phrased it, he hasn't had a dash worth cleaning, so I'd like
to pose the question to the list...

Anyone have tips/tricks/chemical reccomendations/BTDT for cleaning an original
wood dash in a late TR4? The dash isn't perfect by any means, but it's
certainly not trashed. I don't want to risk damaging the veneer or making
matters worse in trying to clean it. I'd like to leave it in it's original
condition and not strip it/restore it, at least for the time being. It's got
the usual cracks and chips, but is in pretty decent shape.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance, and I look forward to
participation in this list!

Thanks,
Rob Pannell
