Even though there is 6" of snow on the ground, spring
fever must have set it. Yesterday I brought home
another GT6. It's a '72 MKIII, but is more like a
GT6+. The commission number of KF10001LO puts it
right at the change point. It has the rotoflex rear
end.
The body is in good shape, with just a small hole in
the driver's side floor. It runs, but not very well
yet. The front carb doesn't seem to be doing much.
The worst part is that a PO put in a homemade
dashboard and a quick look under the dash is like my
worst nightmare. There are more wires disconnected
than connected and very little works other than the
guages and headlights. I wanted something to keep me
busy this summer...I think this will do it.
One good thing, it's the first LBC I bought that I was
able to drive home! A good omen, I hope.
For those interested, I have a few pictures on my web
site. Take a look!
