The original green hoses had a rough cloth look to them. All the black ones
I have seen are smooth. Can you spell Esau?

        Ron:

I thought I remember reading in the TRF catalog somewhere
that they acknowledged the fading problem on their green hoses, but
claimed they had them sorted out now....
I bought a set from TRF, but have not yet installed them.
I wonder if rubber bumper paint would suffice, if you cleaned the
the hoses carefully before spraying? Perhaps you could make
your own....?

It is time to replace my radiator hoses on my TR6. I remember having seen
earlier comments regarding the quality of the green hoses not being very
good
and having the green fade away over time. Does anyone know if these issues
have been resolved. Which supplier has the best hoses? If there is not a
good
supplier of the green hoses I'll just replace them with black.

Thanks in advance,
Ron Olds
