thanks to all those who helped me with my starting problem earlier this
month! i have since traced the problem to fuel delivery and not electrical.
so, the car runs, but only from my lawnmower gas can. if i disconnect the
fuel line from just below the fuel filter (which i replaced by the way), and
but the tubing in the can, the fuel pump primes and pulls gas, and starts
just fine. once i reconnect to the gas tank, the car burns what was left in
the carbs and then dies. it wont pull from the tank. so im guessing there
is something wrong witht the line. i did try to put a bike pump (i wish i
had a compressor) on the line and blow reverse towards the tank, but i dont
know if it bled out through an undiscovered break before it got to the tank,
its a 2 person job.any ideas on where to begin? am i going to have to
replace all the fuel lines? anything will help!
thanks, justin
