As do I, however I propose John applies this test to countries he feel have
been wounded:
Does every citizen have the right to free speech without the fear of
reprisal?
Can women show their faces in public, vote, drive a car?
Does every citizen have the right to leave the country at any time?
Would he feel more conformable criticizing the US government while standing
on US soil or criticizing the "wounded" government while standing on their
soil?
