You need to weld in the necessary sheetmetal on the inside of the door and
then make the appropriate mounting holes to be able to use the later door
pulls on the earlier doors. It's not too hard to do and I had to do it on
one of my doors. An alternative is to cover the hole in the door panel
with black vinyl from the backside so that it is non-functional.
