Hello all, hope everyone had a great Xmas!! I need some
advice, I just aquired a solid axle 1965 TR4A with SU
carbs. Been having trouble with the float chamber
flooding out and also trying to figure out why the vacuum
advance line is missing. That brought up a mystery.
Seems the car does not have the correct SU carbs fitted.
They are HS6 carbs but the float chambers are set in the
middle of the 2 carbs. I see no vacuum connection
either. So can anyone help me identify these carbs and/or
locate some correct carbs?? My gut tells me these may be
Volvo HS6 carbs.
