filters on my 1965 TR4 to K&Ns, but I'm not sure how to handle the crankcase
vent from the rocker cover. I'd like to keep the crank vent routed through
the carbs, and I've thought about installing ports on the K&N covers to
duplicate the original filter design, but I'm wary about drilling holes in the
$60 filters. Anyone tackled this before?>

You can get proper K&N filters for TR4 that come with plastic tubes for the
ventilaton and pop-outs (Oh sure, they just pop out - and I have a bridge to
sell you) for the plastic tubes to go into.
