bubble. This story may be pure fiction, but I have heard it several times
from many directions. These other stories, I am now hearing for the first
time.
And I thought Lotus cars had spawned a lot of legends...

That is a variation on my story. Actually it is the reverse of my story.
I believe that my version is closer to the truth when you consider that the
domes on the Z-S carbs are shorter than those on the SU's.
And as far as legends go... Speculation is easier to come by than are
facts.
