Patrick, a large bristle stainless steel brush, this is exactly how TRF & other shops clean carbs to look as original, Eastwood sells a spray can of carb dye (paint), and of course I can powder coat them, if you have access to a blasting cabinet, walnut shells or even glass beads (50 lbs air pressure) do a beautiful job, the carbs will still weather rather quickly using any of these resto methods except one, you can guess which one that is.
