Hi Hugh
I just did this on a TR6, I used a spring from a TR6 synchro ring slightly
shortened by cutting coils with a Dremmel, Shortening was trial and error,
but as a set of new springs was fitted there were 6 to play with!
Works a treat, don't know how long it will last!
