The ugliest thing I could find. Especially now that it is dirty from use.
The best hat I have ever had. I bought it in 1996 to go to Kansas for the Solo2
Nationals. Figured a week on concrete in the sun required real protection.
This is a Sequel River Rhat, made in Durango Colorado for river rafters. It
is a baseball-style with several special features:

Extra-long bill, not quite as extreme as a Florida off-shore-fishing hat. Top
is white, bottom is black.

Terry sweatband.

Mesh back and sides, but with space-foil on the top where we Old fartz tend
to be a little thin on hair.

Velcro for a white cape to protect the back of the neck. Velcros is mixed
right-to-left
so that I can fold the cape it so that it does not stick to stuff in my pocket
or in the washing machine.

And the part that is great for windy autocrosses and topless Triumph Touring:
A chin strap. This hat stays on at any speed even I am looking over my
shoulder.
