Roxy,
I got a wind deflector from Rimmers this spring and have had it on the car
for about 3 months.
I find that faster you go the more effective it is. While you still get
wind on the top of your head, much of the wind turbulence is eliminated from
the cockpit and warm air is not scoured out of car making a ride on cool
nights (and days) much more comfortable. The unit is very easy to remove and
has a vinyl case so I only use it when it's cool or I'm going to cruse a on
the highway for an extended period.
It was expensive, about $170.00 dollars as I recall, but well made and
IMO worth the money. Instructions are translated from German and difficult to
understand at first reading. I made some minor changes to the hardware for
a better installation.
