TR Door handles

To remove the pins, and awl or pick set works fine.

To reinstall a real TR pin:
Find a long finishing nail (a smooth nail, not a spiral nail) that is the same
or just slightly smaller diameter as the pin. Bend the nail 45 degrees at
about 3" from the point.  Install the door or window handle on the crank and
use the nail to locate and line up the holes. The nail helps to hold the panel
away from the handle allowing better access. Hold the pin in a pair of bent
nose needle nose pliers and as you slowly withdraw the nail, insert the pin,
almost pushing the nail out with the pin. The pin should slide in easily as
the holes are already lined up. The trick is to find the right size nail.
Bending it 45 or 90 degrees allows movement and control.
