In my pile of stuff I have a gold coloured Lucas coil. (I know someone JUST
wrote about this but I am sorry I did not take note, and I don't know
how/if you can search on recent digests. Sorry sorry sorry.)
It has the screw-on high tension connector, and on the bottom says 12 V, PA
12, 45118B. Now I measured the resistance and figure its output at about
28,000 volts. This doesn't seem all that high to me - aren't high-pot coils
more like 40K?
