Hi listers,
The tub on my TR-3A is out for paint and the engine and drive train are
bolted to the chassis and the exhaust system is installed.
The brake lines are strung to the 4-way distribution fitting on the right
side of the chassis and the fuel line is strung only needing to be finished
at the tank.
I took the engine apart and inspected everything 6 years ago. When all looked
OK, I decarbonised the head, lapped the valves and put it together again.
I want to fire the engine up before the body gets back and I have a few
questions:
1) Is there a way to pre-charge the engine with oil before I crank it over
2) Where can I best hook up an oil pressure gauge to monitor pressure.
3) If anyone has done this before, is there anything that I should watch out
for.
hanks
Bob
