That's kind of weird. My XJ-6 specs 55 lbs for the stock alloys. Use the
same on the TR-6 and its minilite mags. Never ever had a problem. Between
the two that's nearly 1/2 million miles.

As a general rule of thumb, at the tire shop I used to run, we would torque
steel wheels to 85 ft lbs and alloys to 100 ft lbs.
