Hello List,
Part of my TR4A resto was using the red poly bushings in the trailing arms.
While the left side camber is at 1/2 deg negative, the right side is at 3 1/2
deg neg. It wasn't that way before I disassembled it. Maybe 1 or 2 deg each
side.
In looking at the Moss TR6 catalog there's an article describing how to adjust
the camber by changing the fulcrums from either one, two or three notches
either pointed up or down.
I originally started with the outside 2 notch down, inside one notch up. I
changed the outside to 2 up but it didn't change the camber the three degrees
positive like the article suggests.
Has anyone on the list done this adjustment, and, if so, did you achieve the
same sort of degree changes the book suggests? Or, is there another method?
Thanks!
John in San Diego
Note: Drove around yesterday with the top down. Had the shades on, wind blowing
what little hair I have left. It was great!
