Piggot's 'Original TR' States:
The first TR4A was CTC 50006, built Jan 5th,
The first car built in 1966 was CTC 64148 on Jan 3rd.
The first car built in 1967 was CTC 75172 on Jan 2nd.
My car is a very early '65 - Built Jan 31st. Comm # CTC 50497L, Body # 50157
CT, Engine # CT50041E, all original numbers.
I don't know when a TR4A 'model year' began...August or January??
This will give you a range of Commission numbers. You probably already know
that BMIHT can do a production records search if you have any of the orginal
numbers from the engine or body for an extra #10. I had them do this for my
TR4. Somehow Commission Plates always seen to disappear from race cars...
