I have a '62 TR4, and all of a sudden I was not able to shift into any
gears. So I had all new hydraulics put in. Now the clutch is high and
tight, and the gears shift smoothly in 2nd, 3rd & 4th, but shifting from
neutral to 1st is a problem -- it is not smooth, it bucks or stutters
somewhat. Any sugguestions?

PS I would like to thank all of you who responded to my last email in
which I asked about the right idling speed and putting a new radio in
the car. I am happy to report that the car is now idling comfortably at
around 1,000, and I'm the proud owner of new, working radio, with 2 new
speakers. Thanks, everyone, for your advice and help back then.
