I think having two sides labelled helping and receiving is one way of
looking at it but in reality, all of us are helpers AND receivers to a
greater or lesser extent. As far as it goes for Standard Triumph (or
any other British make) no-one knows all the answers all the time for
the simple fact that not all the cars were sold in all the markets all
the time. Thus, *specialists* come to the fore and this knowledge,
gained at the coalface of snagged knuckles and broken bones can spread
across model differences and makes as well. Perhaps the only exception
is that old Joe Lucas got both feet firmly wedged in every door and if
this list is to be believed, everyone seems to have all the same
problems all of the time <g> - except me!
