Hi all,

Looks like I bit off more than I can chew this time. I bought a new
headliner for my GT6 (from Newton Commercial, and it looks quite well
made) and decided to have a go yesterday.

The ratty old one came out no problem, but I didn't realize so much
depended on glue. Bentley says "Dunlop SP 758 used in production"...
well fat chance that's still available.

Any advice on what adhesive to use, joyfully received! BTW the book
also says to smooth the fabric down with a "slecker"-- described as a
flat, diamond-shaped tool, of plastic or wood, with no sharp edges.
Sounds trowelsome to me. Has anyone ever seen one?

And, to those who've been contemplating a new headliner, get a
friend. It's definitely a two man job (and I'm stuck).
