Mike, I have a leather(polished spokes) Mountney steering wheel on my TR4. I would agree with Mitch totally- they fit, have a good finish and are a very nice wheel to drive with. I also agree that the horn arrangement is terrible. I am pretty sure that even a flat wheel would fit your TR250, it fits my TR4 fine, I think the column switches are similar on the two cars, if not identical.
