I have tried many TR parts houses here in the UK for a repair panel to
repair the rear lower section of my right hand front wing /fender. I have
drawn a blank, no one seems to manufacture this panel even though it is
shown in a few catalogues. Do any suppliers have them in the States?
I suppose I could make one from the non rusty remains of the sill/rocker but
this is not ideal because the rot has extended up above the sill/rocker
line. I can envisage much patching and distortion from welding with this
option.
This leads me to a simpler alternative that is finding a non rusty section
from an otherwise damaged wing/fender.
What I need is the lower 6 inches (say 8 inches to allow for trimming) That
is passenger side in the US drivers side in the UK.
One Lister sent me pictures and offered one to me about 12 months ago if you
are still out there please contact me.
Meanwhile has anyone got this part available and how much would you want for
it?
