Hi Corey
As a long time driver of a Dolomite which had the ariel (antenna) mounted on
the drivers front wing, towards the rear near the scuttle, (about 6" away I
think) all I can remember thinking was what a STUPID place to put the
*&%$$^&* ariel, it was, to me a most distracting location, I figured back
then it was because most of the cars were exported, now I believe it was for
reasons Unknown! Current Dolly does not have an ariel, and the radio works
real good, only ever have trouble with real distant stations!
Graham.

| I prefer the scuttle panel, only because it maintains a clean look and the
| straight line of the fender. Although, if I had a choice, I'd mount it on
| the driver's side of the scuttle panel.
