Many thanks to all who helped me out with my question about the Mk 1
instrument panel arrangement recently - I really appreciated the advice and
many offers of further help.
I have the opportunity to pick up a Spitfire engine from Sydney (about 1000
Kms from home) to replace the Herald engine that is fitted to my car at the
moment. Can anyone tell me what the dry weight of the 1147cc engine is, so I
can get some quotes on transport costs?

PS. For those in Buffalo, the temperature is averaging 38-39 degrees Celius
in Brisbane at the moment (100-102 Fahrenheit) - no problems with freezing
batteries here!
