dennis,
I'll add my experience of an ill fitting pacesetter header that required
semi-annual gasket replacement because the fit wasn't quite right and I
never could make it "right". Then I got a set of high quality stainless
two-piece headers with a thick flange and have run it for 7 years now with
no leaks or other problems whatsoever. If I had it to do over again I would
have bought mild steel since I had the header ceramic coated. I recommend
you do the same and purchase a thick, high performance gasket
available from TRF and others to help insure a leak free seal.
Good luck,
Jim Davis
