>Die Grinder!
Yes! This is my most used tool for body work. Set it up for use with
cutting wheels, wire wheels, stones and those fibrous paint removing
wheels sold by 3M and others. Be careful of the maximum RPM.
The die grinder has replaced my angle grinder for smoothing welds.
Fitted with thick cut-off wheel, I've found it much easier to control.
These are cheap enough that you can buy several and avoid swapping
accessories back and forth. I have several HFs that have seen
extended use. I oil them prior to each session and they've held up
well.
Safety glasses and hearing protection are a must. A full face shield
is highly recommended.
Cheers!
