Listers,

I recently changed my TRs insurance carrier to one that allows me to drive
more than the 2500 miles allowed by my earlier carrier. It seems that last
year, I drove 3200 miles or so, what with VTR in Portland, Triumphest in San
Diego and the All Triumph Drive In up in Vancouver, BC. (Unfortunately, I
missed Triumphest this year!) When it came time for renewal, my insurance
agent said that he was not going to be able to insure me with the old
carrier because of the mileage I had driven during the previous policy
period. I really wanted to drive the car more, not less! Not only to and
from the various shows and club events, but I wanted to feel free to drive
it around town on a nice day when there wasn't a sports car event! So the
new insurance carrier is a welcome change.

If you all feel as I did, check with your agent and see if they have a
similarly "looser" antique auto policy. My new policy offers the exact same
"agreed" value, comp. and collision, but with NO mileage limits! Now, here
is the stinger! It was cheaper!!!!
