This discussion brings up a question I have been meaning to ask for a long
time. Does anyone know if the 2 speed TR4A wiper motor has the same lower
mountings as the single speed TR3 motor? Has anyone done this adoption?
TIA

Subject: Re: TR4 Wiper Motors
I have converted a TR4A from LHD to RHD.
Apart from 4A motor being two speed, the wiper motors for the TR4, TR4A,
RHD,and LHD are the same and are sited in the same postition under the
bonnet/hood.
The only mod required is to turn the domed piece of the wiper motor lid. It
is adjustable for left park or right park. Simple really once I had figured
it out. The other mod was a pair of stainless steel wiper arms from a RHD
TR6 which have the bends the other way to clear the fresh air vent lid.
I do have a spare used TR4 single speed wiper motor in good working order,
dated 1961, if anyone has need of one. I bought this in error before I
figured out the above modification.
