Here is what I did on mine:
1. Make sure the latch gives you the full travel in both
directions.
2. Start with the pin centered in the hole. If it still opens, move
it a tiny bit toward the latch side. Repeat until it doesn't open
by itself anymore. Be careful though, you don't want to go so
far that it never opens again :-).
