I disagree. You should not remove enough metal with the hone to have any
measurable impact on taper or ovality. The 'Flex-hones' (brand name for
abrasive balls on a big wire brush) make it almost impossible to remove too
much metal (I've tried <g>), and are valued for exactly that reason.
