Hi List!
Someone made the statment that it's not wise to have a Front end
aligment done Before one is to rebuild it [or something to that effect].
When I purchased my Califorina (sp) car with out engine & tranny, I
pushed it down to have ALL 4 wheels Checked for proper alignment. Note:
I Only had it checked, not altered. reason I wanted something to go by.
I do agree with the statement 'In General', because after I did the full
restoration [minus engine], I drove [threw in an engine & tranny from
another TR4/A] it down to have ALL 4 wheels aligned [altered]. To fine
the car was in need to be shimmed up to meet basic spects AGAP. So it's
not a bad idea, if you have never driven the car or don't consider it a
waste of money.
