Thanks for the reply Bob. When I had the engine rebuilt, I had new valves,
guides, springs, valve seats, etc. I did not replace any of the push rods
but the tappets were replaced. The head was machined. I have always had a
compression around 120 psi. I kept records on my engine from 76 and it has
always been around 115. I didn't think this was unusal.
Any idea how I can check if the valve is stuck. The spring has the same
tension as the rest.
