Among the alterations planned on my GT6 is an upgrade to HS6 carbs. Any
listers done this? How? Problems & pitfalls?
How did you match the 1.75" carb bore to the 1.5" hole in the manifold? I see
Triumphtune offers an adapter plate, but given the rather restricted space
available, wouldn't this have to have a pretty abrupt change - comments?
One of our club members (www.sbcc.ca) used a TR-6 manifold, but this put the
carbs high enough that he had to cut a clearance hole in the hood, which he
covered nicely with an airscoop but I would rather avoid - anyone modified a
TR6 manifold to fit without clearance problems?
How about just hogging out the GT6 manifold holes with the ole port grinder
and relocating the mounting studs?
