Not the same situation at all. For the hydraulic system to provide a
mechanical advantage, the master piston must be smaller than the slave
piston. True for disc brakes, but not for the clutch on a TR3. There may
be some mechanical advantage on a TR2 (which ISTR has a larger bore slave
than a TR3), but it's nothing compared to the roughly 10:1 advantage given
by the lever arms in the clutch pedal.
