>Hi all-Just an oddity that appeared this morning. Usually when I turn
the ign to the start position the ignition light & oil light go full
bright. Now the oil light is a dull glow & goes out after start. Is this
a PWA centering adjustment or a bad ground?
I just replaced front pads but all was perfect after the job.

Mitchel, what you describe is the typical operation of the lights on the
earlier TR6's. On the 76 TR6 (and likely yours, too) they added a "bulb
check relay" that illuminates the bulbs during start at full brightness (or
at least as bright as they will be with the battery voltage available
during cranking). It is possible that this relay is not functioning. At
any rate, the fact that the lights go out after start up means that the
PDWA is fine.

I guess you could live with it that way, wait for it to go away (if you
have a poor connections somewhere the symptom may come and go), or find the
relay and start checking things out.

Good luck
