If other posts haven't already picked up on this point, the dual gauge
was a standard fit on Sprite, Midget and MGB up to about 1970 - maybe
later. Earlier versions had water temp in Deg F and later went to Deg
C. Oil pressure was always PSI rather than Bar as far as I remember.
Certainly a very similar instrument was fitted to Jaguars but a *very*
long time ago.
The latest model small Jaguar-wise would have been the Mk 1 2.4 and
3.4, XK120/40/50 and the Mk VII to Mk IX big saloons - probably
earlier ones to those as well. In fact I think the Mk V had the same.
It was a common piece of manufacturer equipment for other makes/models
though Smiths also sold them as aftermarket accessories.
