I recently had my '71 TR6 professionally appraised so that I could convince
my insurance company that it was worth enough to repair the accident damage.
It sounds like your '72 is in about the same condition as my car. The
appraisal came in at just over $9000, which is somewhat inflated in my
opinion but I wasn't about to argue the point.
Value varies somewhat depending on location too. I live in the Seattle
area.
